= [(-2) × (+50)] × [(-25) × 4] = (-100) × (-100) = 10000
5. Check the following for equality and if they are equal, mention the property

LHS = (8 - 13) × 7 = -5 × 7 = -35

6. Word Problem 1
During summer, the level of the water in a pond decreases by 2 inches every week due to evaporation. What is the change in the level of the water over a period of 6 weeks?
Solution:

- Total change in water level = 6 × (-2) = -12 inches
Answer: The water level decreases by 12 inches (or -12 inches change).
7. Pairs of Integers
Find all possible pairs of integers that give a product of -50.
Solution:
